Jennifer McDonald: I went on last year's trip to the Oakland LDS, and I had such a terrific time. We had rented two vans from a local car rental. I was one of the drivers. The drive there and back was fairly smooth, and we had a great time. I found so much information on my Irish family. I was able to unlock a brick wall. Others had found so much information on newspapers, and through other FREE resources that Oakland has available for our use. The staff was very helpful and well trained. Take a 15 minute break and walk outside on the grounds of the LDS Church. The view is breath taking of the San Francisco Bay Area. Please, consider going on this trip. It is well worth the information that you will find about your family. Oh, and do not forget your sack lunch!

Please contact Cleda Lane 577-2289 or cledavlane@gmail.com if you are interested in attending.
